Interreligious Dialogue Messengers

Anna, Tuyanna, Ketevan and Marina came form from Armenia, Russia, Georgia and Italy to Monar Marianowek this September!!!! They were volunteers from a project called Interreligious Dialogue Messengers and they took part in our daily activities and also explained us why they were here!

Interreligious Dialogue Messengers is a group EVS (European Voluntary Service) project that took place in Poland between the 1st July and 1st October 2009.
The project, organized by One Word Association, was co-funded by the “Youth In Action” programme.
This Group EVS project’s aim was to enable volunteers to act as promoters and multipliers of tolerance as a value and acceptance of cultural differences with a strong emphasis on religious aspect. Four volunteers from Armenia, Georgia, Russia and Italy, came to Poland for 3 months to exchange and work on the meaning of Interreligious Dialogue in order to create non formal education activities.
The volunteers interacted with different religious communities in Poland and used non formal education methods to create activities based on their personal background, experiences and interaction with each other. These educational activities, promoting interreligious dialogue were run to various communities in Poland. In the meantime, they documented their activity. The result of the project will be compilated in a DVD.
